Travel bags, and not just handbags deserve to be in the spotlight!: The Ford Vignale Weekender luxury travel bag, developed jointly by Ford Design and cyber-Wear has won a 2017 Promotional Gift Award. This elegant item, made of premium Italian leather, has been rewarded at an international competition for creative and boldly implemented advertising articles in the category "Special Designs". The bag already won the iF Design Award in 2014, and, as part of the Vignale Collection at the Automotive Brand Contest 2016, a prize in the category "Future, Mobility & Parts".
The Ford Vignale Weekender is the centrepiece of the Vignale Collection, a premium merchandising collection accompanying Ford´s highest quality vehicle equipment product range, lending style and elegance to any car trip. The travel bag has a minimalist look, its urbanity emphasised by trapeze-shaped contours, using the Vignale radiator grille as a design template. Wide side pockets and sophisticated details such as magnet closing instead of visible clasps round off the design created by Erika Tsubaki / Ford Design. cyber-Wear uses finely crafted Italian leather for the bag - the result: Luxurious quality and timeless elegance that you can see and touch. The Promotional Gift Award is given once yearly in eight categories. It is organised by the Cologne publishing house WA Media GmbH, organiser of the HAPTICA® live trade fair and publisher of the trade magazines HAPTICA®, Promotion Products, Werbeartikel Nachrichten and eppi magazine. The award is regarded as a seal of creativity in the promotional gift industry and sets new benchmarks in haptic advertising.
