Vignale Collection Receives Design Award

Award-winning merchandising products for the Ford accessory line

Developed as an absolutely exclusive collection in the premium segment, the Vignale Collection produced by cyber-Wear for Ford has now been given an official stamp of excellency: at the Automotive Brand Contest 2016, the high-end products flanking the top-quality automotive accessory line by Ford won the award for the “Future, Mobility & Parts” category.

The Automotive Brand Contest is the only international design contest for automotive brands and has quickly become an important event for the industry. The German Design Council awards prizes in eleven different categories and four special categories for outstanding product and communication design and highlights the elementary significance of brand and brand design for the automotive industry. Their primary focus is on an integrated brand presentation across all media and products. The Automotive Brand Contest provides companies from the automotive industry and their partners in supply, design and brand communication with a high-profile public relations platform to position themselves and their services internationally and to compare themselves with others.

The Vignale Collection, developed hand-in-hand by Ford Design and cyber-Wear, is produced using exclusive materials and much of it is elaborately hand-crafted. Bags and accessories made of finely grained, thick leather and pure silk are just as much part of the collection as espresso cups made of fine bone china. The collection is part of the Ford Vignale concept that promises Ford customers a comprehensive service experience that goes above and beyond luxurious vehicle accessories. Besides these luxury accessories, the “Future, Mobility & Parts” category at the Automotive Design Contest also accepts submissions for wheels, tyres, rims, technical accessories, trailers, light design, supplier parts, special equipment, sport, outdoor and leisure articles as well as clothing, fan articles, car sharing models, mobility concepts, drive technologies, satellite navigation and multimedia devices and many others – and the Vignale Collection triumphed over all the submissions by the competition.

The awards will be presented during the “Mondial de l’Automobile” salon in Paris in October 2016. The collection is available at selected Ford dealerships and on www.vignalecollection.com.
