“#11” – Cybergroup With New, High-Speed Partner

Cybergroup launches the official merchandise shop for professional racing driver Marco Wittmann. Competing with his lucky driver number #11, he already won the DTM twice.

This past weekend, another shop hosted by Cybergroup went online. Since Saturday evening, the MW11 fan shop can finally put the pedal to the metal! True fans already know: the abbreviation stands for the official merchandise shop for successful DTM racing driver Marco Wittmann. He has already won the DTM German Touring Car Masters title twice – first in 2014, and then again in 2016.

Gasoline has been pumping through the young driver’s veins since his early childhood and he’s been driving for BMW for almost as long. Since then he has had a successful and colourful career on the race track. Wittmann started his career as a DTM test driver for BMW in 2012 and shortly thereafter was awarded a regular spot in the team’s DTM cockpit. He won his first DTM race at the 2014 season opener at Hockenheim. At the age of 25, he became the youngest German DTM Champion to date, driving for the German racing team Reinhold Motorsport. Together with the same team, he clinched his second DTM championship in 2016, making him the youngest two-time DTM Champion of all time. The following year, Marco Wittmann chose to forgo the coveted number 1 as his driver number to defend his title. Not wanting to jinx his chances, he opted to stick with his lucky number – 11 – which has been his trademark ever since.

Of course, this trademark also features heavily on the products in his official merchandise collection. In addition to casual shirts and hoodies emblazoned with the number 11, Cybergroup is also producing wristbands and key rings for the champion in a cool racing look. The range is rounded off by a bright green cap – based on his BMW M4 DTM, also known as “#TheGreenMachine”. The 600 HP car is also pictured on a selection of fan cups and stickers. In addition to setting up and maintaining the official merchandise shop, a Cybergroup subsidiary is also responsible for the logistics. CG Fulfilment is an expert service provider when it comes to order processing, from professional warehousing to picking, packing, shipping and returns management.
