CG Lounge Talk with a new Concept: Now CG Live Talk

New Year, new concept: The well-known and popular CG Lounge Talk has in the meantime become well established in the promotional materials sector and is already fully booked for the first half of the year.

When we first created the format for the CG Lounge Talk in June of last year, we didn't expect it to be quite so successful. Starting off with the newcomer Earebel and our top suppliers, we received so much positive feedback that we were hardly able to keep up with our scheduling. Everyone wanted a chance to have a conversation with our CEO Steven Baumgärtner and to use the opportunity to present their innovations, trends and highlights. After all, it isn't just suppliers, friends and acquaintances from within the sector that watch the "talks", but also our customers and potential new customers too.

 

Last year, Steven wished people "a very Good Morning" 20 times. These talks have included broadcasts from the roof of our new building, from the beach in Zoutelande in Holland, from our new cyber kitchen with live cooking, from our new outdoor terrace in temperatures of around 40 degrees, from the new FARE building and even from beautiful Lake Lugano in Switzerland. During this period, our social media activities and those of our suppliers have increased dramatically as we have a wide distribution network for the talks.  This means that several thousand viewers have been able to follow the latest happenings every Wednesday.

 

"With this talk in the middle of the week, we hope to give anyone who is interested the opportunity to start their day well informed about all the latest news. In a compact quarter-of-an-hour broadcast, the cyber-Wear team and their partner suppliers keep the industry up to date with all the most interesting and current information on promotional articles," Steven Baumgärtner explains. Nothing has changed when it comes to this concept. This year we hope to spend even more time looking behind the scenes at our suppliers' premises. What kind of company are they? Where are they positioned? Who are the people that work there? And, above all – How are their products manufactured? We want to achieve more transparency, so that we can help people to feel a closer connection to the products. For this reason, we are no longer mainly broadcasting from our Lounge in Mannheim, so the format will from now on be called "CG Live Talk" or, as we say for short, "CGLT".

 

This year we are expecting lots of exciting productions, both in Germany and across the whole of Europe. We're already almost fully booked for the first half of the year. The suspense continues.
