cyber-Wear is growing both in Germany and internationally

Seventeen new employees have joined the teams

Further growth in the cyber-Wear and Cybergroup International workforce: During the last few months 17 new employees have started work at both German locations as well as in China and the USA.

Manuel Rosario, an experienced stores specialist who most recently worked at the games and leisure company Vedes, applied for a job in Dossenheim on 1 July 2016 and has since then reinforced the stores team there. A little later he was joined by his wife: after working for many years in housekeeping at Heidelberg University Hospital, Stefanie Rosario began work at the stores in Dossenheim on 21 September 2016, initially on a temporary basis and then permanently. The last new recruit for 2016 was Conrad Prochot, who joined the team on 2 November.  Although he originally qualified as a wholesale and export trade specialist, even before he began work in the stores at Dossenheim he had acquired a number of years' experience in stores management.

At the start of 2017 Helen Wang began to build up the newly established Cybergroup Shanghai Ltd as its Managing Director. The experienced sales specialist will not only look after the existing German cyber-Wear customers, but also has good contacts with purely Chinese companies. This is ideal when it comes to acquiring new customers in the Shanghai location, China's economic hub. Shortly afterwards she recruited a further new Sales Support specialist in the person of Alex Ma.

March saw a new development in Event Management. Laurence Bechtel has been supporting the event team on a permanent basis since 1 March 2017. Since 2012 she has been working for cyber-Wear as a trade fair hostess / event manager on a freelance basis, and making an impact with her multilingual skills. Apart from her mother tongues of German and French, she is also fluent in English and Spanish. In addition, after these five years she is very familiar with many cyber-Wear customers and colleagues.

Alexandra Szoó is a qualified event management specialist with experience on the commercial side, and has since 2 May 2017 reinforced the cyber-Wear Ford team in Wipperfürth. In addition she is qualified as an assistant sommelier(e) and is a recognised expert on German wine.

The Wipperfürth stores organisation is also pleased at its latest reinforcement: since 1 August Dirk Zwonkowski has been providing the team there with energetic support and many years of experience in warehouse management. Sambah Bah, a refugee from Gambia, has also been working at the Dossenheim stores since 1 August. In his West African home country he worked as a caretaker, warehouse employee, gardener and firefighter, but didn't see any prospects for him and his family in this desperately poor country. After the divorce of his parents his young son stayed in Gambia with Samba's mother - the biggest motivation for cyber-Wear's new employee may well be supporting them both from Germany.

On 1 August the Design Department also received a new addition: parallel to completing his BA studies in media production Semih Kâhya is supporting the Graphics and Design team in Wipperfürth. He also works as a freelance photographer, which will be a big advantage  when he joins the company on a permanent basis, as is planned from November.

After more than 10 years in sales at Betty Barclay, Thomas Metzke has been a new Key Account Manager at cyber-Wear since the middle of August. Born in France, in addition to the the business study graduate's operations in sales at the Nußloch women's fashion company, he also acted as a project leader in shop management, which gives him the ideal qualifications for his new post.

There's also no shortage of news on the trainee and apprentice front. On 1 September 2017 Denis Förderer began his apprenticeship in stores logistics in Dossenheim.

On 4 and 9 October 2017 cyber-Wear welcomed five new employees, three of them in Wipperfürth. After completing his BA studies in this field Andreas Malangré has become the new Supply Chain Manager at cyber-Wear, and Sarah Bo Jacob has joined as Social Media Manager. In addition to her studies in textile technology and management she is contributing considerable experience in stores and product management, most recently in the leather segment. Melina Lukasseck will work as Assistant to the Management and the Social Media Manager. This new career entrant obtained the qualifications for her new post by studying business management and completing her  training as an industrial commercial specialist. Since the beginning of October Sven-Gunnar Hüffmeier has been supportingthe back-office team in Dossenheim. A qualified wholesale and export trade specialist, his most recent work was in the textile sector. In addition to Corporate Fashion he is also looking forward to getting to know the other cyber-Wear areas of expertise. Last but not least, with effect from today Cybergroup US has a new Key Account Manager at its Indianapolis location in the person of Clair Hermesch. She comes from our competitor CIC, where she was an account manager, and her job will be to drive forward the company's US business.

We welcome all of our new colleagues and wish them every success!
