Unique, exclusive and a resounding success

The cyber-Wear VIP event on the first evening of the fair once again exceeded all expectations: an art exhibition with 42 works in the Paris Club on the 17th floor of the 25hours Hotel with more than 180 guests and VIPs from all around the world.

At exactly 7 p.m. on Tuesday, 07.01.2020, the doors of the Paris Club opened on the 17th floor of the 25hours Hotel in Düsseldorf. More than 180 guests arrived for a unique and unforgettable cyber event to round off the first day of the fair. The 25hours Hotel with its Paris Club on the 16th and 17th floor in Düsseldorf was the perfect venue.

With French flair and the cyber touch the guests were welcomed by the cyber team at the entrance of the hotel. In front of the Eifel Tower the VIP admission wristbands were checked, because that evening admission was reserved for invited guests. High up on the 17th floor they then entered the exclusive bar of the Paris Club, which the cyber team had transformed into an art gallery. With a spectacular view over the whole of Düsseldorf, this is the place to spend time with friends - new or old - and enjoy French wines and delicacies. The bar filled up quickly, there was a cheerful, interested atmosphere and the guests wandered around exploring all 42 works of art.

The cyber team had skilfully introduced the 42 works of art into the bar beforehand, without them being in the way and with some even slightly hidden in places. Only the most attentive and interested visitors discovered all 42 works of art. Sometimes they were on the tables, on the bar, behind the bar, on the walls, on shelves, suspended from the ceiling or integrated into the windows. Art was to be discovered everywhere.

The top partner suppliers of cyber-Wear were responsible for the artworks. The initial idea of creating works of art which could be auctioned afterwards to raise money for a good cause in the end led to a full-scale exhibition with no less than 42 works of art from suppliers all over Europe. For this cyber-Wear would like to thank its suppliers once again, because without them the event would never have been possible.

True to the slogan that "good art does good", all the proceeds from the auctioned artworks will be donated to one of Cybergroup's long-standing social projects, "The Heidelberg Project" https://www.heidelberg.org/. The Heidelberg Project is an outdoor art environment in the heart of an urban area of Detroit with the goal of improving the lives of people and neighbourhoods through art.

Until 7 February 2020 everyone can view the works of art again at https://www.parisclub.auction/ and bid for their favourite work.

The social media team was also once more present with their cameras to get a feel for the atmosphere, record statements and of course learn more about the artworks of the suppliers. Where did the idea come from, what artist is behind it and what does the work mean to him or her?

But of course there was more to discover in addition to the works of art. In the Sound Experience Corner, three different headphones offered sounds of three musical styles: Black Rock, Silver Pop and Electro House. Matching the music genres, three cocktail shots were created and served to the listeners: The Morrison, Tariquet Sour and Le Pommier.  In the Build your own Notebook Corner the guests were able to have a tattoo artist design their own personal notebook. There were no limits to creativity here, whether flowers, animals or abstract objects, everything was perfectly executed on the notebook with a tattoo needle.

This and the overall concept made the exhibition a memorable event which once again exceeded all expectations. Many thanks also to the whole cyber team, without whom it would not have been possible either!
