Women of cyber-wear

Half of the cyber team is female, and women shape the company in all areas. For World Women's Day Cybergroup says thank you and introduces some employees.

For World Women's Day, Cybergroup celebrates its employees and thanks them for their daily work! Quota-wise, the company is already doing pretty well, with around 60 employees there are 29 women - in all areas, from the warehouse to the administration, marketing and design to sales and leading positions. Cybergroup introduces some of them in a charming way, with short catchwords giving exciting insights into the people behind the job title.

Some of Cybergroup's longtime companions are women, and even after the first few years, the team consisted in equal parts of female founders, along with the founders and managing directors Steven Baumgärtner and Roman Weiss. Collaboration over years and decades is always based on trust and appreciation, so long-term loyalty to the company is just as much a stroke of luck as it is for anyone else.

Anika Merkel joined the company in 2002, directly after completing her degree in apparel technology in Sigmaringen, Swabia. Because of her specialist knowledge gained during her studies, she is not only responsible for quality control today, but also for the human resources department of the company. Her long-term affiliation and wide-ranging responsibilities make her passionate about her job and has real cyber blood.

Inga Clausen joined cyber-Wear in her early twenties and celebrated her 15th anniversary in 2017. Over the years, the designer has developed into an increasingly valuable employee that neither the team nor their colleagues would want to do without. Through her wealth of experience from innumerable projects with cyber-Wear, her uncomplicated, fast way of working and her creativity, she has firmly established herself in the team. This rootedness in the team and in the company was confirmed again last year by the choice of the person of trust.

Cybergroup is just as proud of its long-standing employees as it is of its international orientation. Both the North American and the Asian are run by women as general managers. Clair Hermesch brings many years of experience in the promotional products industry as General Manager for CGUS and has been serving major clients such as Aston Martin US, Festool USA and Trumpf USA for almost two years now. Helen Wang, in turn, leads the Chinese team as General Manager CGCN and uses her good contacts to purely Chinese companies to acquire new customers.

At the German headquarters, just recently moved to Mannheim, Lisa Spohr has been working full-time in sales since the beginning of 2016 as Key Account Manager. The 34-year-old studied Business Administration at BA Mannheim and has ten years of professional experience in product management and procurement. Your attention is directed to serve existing customers comprehensive, identify new opportunities and develop strategies to support brand and corporate messages through specific flanking with advertising material and merchandising collections.
