Petra Lassahn in the PSI TV Studio

At the end of the trade fair, Petra Lassahn, Director PSI, looked back with pride on the past three days. The previous event in 2023 was a success, but it was surpassed by this year’s trade fair after a year of preparation.

PSI 2024 exceeded all expectations. Despite strikes and demonstrations, the trade fair recorded more visitors than in the previous year, and without these obstacles there would have been even more. This speaks for the quality and importance of the trade fair as Europe's leading trade fair for the promotional products industry.

With 567 exhibitors and 11,003 visitors from 69 countries, PSI has further expanded its status. Particularly noteworthy was the commitment of the partner country, the Netherlands, which presented numerous products and trends.

Petra Lassahn once again emphasises the importance of personal contact and direct communication. Promotional products need to be experienced, viewed and touched. The high level of interest in products and quality was palpable. The trade fair director is satisfied when exhibitors and visitors are satisfied – a factor that was completely fulfilled.

PSI not only provided a platform for business meetings, but also an opportunity for important political discussions. Members of the German Parliament Markus Herbrand and Manfred Todtenhausen were impressed by the quality of the products and took away suggestions from the industry.

The MoPA - the “Museum of Promotional Articles” - was a personal highlight for Lassahn. It took visitors through the past, present and future of promotional products and demonstrated the innovative strength of the industry. This exhibition received a lot of praise, even from the Lord Mayor Dr Stephan Keller, who officially opened the MoPA.
