A year full of energy

In 2020 the cyber-Wear headquarters produced 310,192.05 kWh of energy on an area of 3,500 square metres. Of this, 51,546 kWh was used by the company itself and the rest was fed into the grid.

The roof of our HQ has 942 solar panels and 3 inverters, which cover an area of 3,500 square metres. The solar panels have an output of 298.62 kWp. Last year, a total of 310,192.05 kWh of energy was produced on our roof, which in total is about six times as much as the electricity we actually used ourselves. Once again in figures: of the amount of energy generated over the year, only 51,546 kWh was used by us and the rest was fed into the grid! At our HQ all computers, lights, printers, simply everything that needs electricity, run on the power generated. Thanks to this autonomous power generation, we can call ourselves a sustainable and green company.

When we moved to the new HQ the solar panels were put into operation for the first time on 31 January 2019 and have been supplying us with our green electricity ever since. We feed into the grid the electricity that we don't need ourselves and therefore let other people share in our green power.

Since that time the subject of sustainability has been integrated even more firmly into the corporate DNA of cyber-Wear. Every time we put electronic devices into operation, we can therefore always be proud of the fact that we have also taken a sustainable path in the area of energy supply and are accordingly committed to protecting the climate.
