Donations for Belarus

On the occasion of a small event to mark International Women's Day, the association distributed small goody bags to mothers of severely handicapped children who devote themselves every day to the care and nursing of their sick children.

For years cyber-Wear has regularly supported the "Help for Child Victims of Chernobyl" association. The association, based in the Rhineland, not only runs the Mogilev children's home, but also organises and supports social and medical projects in the affected region of Belarus, including Mosaika Aktiv.  This is an accredited charitable organisation with the purpose of providing social and psychological support for families with handicapped children and the support of young people with handicaps. This partner association now distributes our donations in kind on various occasions, events and charity campaigns.

One example is the event for International Women's Day: on the occasion of the 2021 International Women's Day the Mosaika Aktiv association invited its members to a small event in the parish of St. Antony in Mogilev Belarus. The participating women are all mothers of severely disabled or seriously ill children. They were happy to have a "holiday from everyday life", because most of them are single mothers and devote themselves every day to the care of their sick children. Cheerful conversation and waffles made according to a German recipe kept everyone in a good mood during the event.

Small goody bags filled with gifts from our delivery of donations in kind sweetened the close of the get-together. During his surprise visit Brother Vitali from the church community was also presented with practical little gifts such as an ice scraper, a mug and a face mask.
