wow - 3rd Cybergroup Magazine

We've come up with something very special for the third edition of our magazine – two magazines in one. Whilst we are finally enjoying the warmth of the sunshine in the garden or on our balconies, the preparations for Christmas are in full swing. Take a look and grab some inspiration!

On 1 June 2021, exactly four weeks ago, it was the official start of summer! Longer days, shorter nights, more time spent outside and finally the chance to get more fresh air! But most importantly, the sun came out! For us, this was reason enough to focus on summer, camping and barbecues and to find out more about these subjects. What will be the trends this summer, where we be travelling to, how will we get there, where will we sleep and how will we celebrate key events? Will we continue to hold small events with just our nearest and dearest, or will we be brave enough to try a larger garden party? It's clear from our range of exciting new projects that the wheels never stop turning here. Whether we are implementing projects for new customers or addressing the subject of sustainability. We explore lots of different ideas, we hold discussions and we resolutely develop and expand on these topics. We have never been known to say "It can't be done" and we intend to maintain this approach in the future. Sustainability is in our DNA and we never tire of ensuring that it is consistently incorporated into all the collections we produce for our customers.

But we have also taken a look back. Back to the days when the world's metropolises were almost deserted and presented a completely different picture. No crowded streets, no hotspots full of tourists, quite the opposite: gaping emptiness in places that had otherwise been pulsating with life.  Completely unfamiliar and yet somehow fascinating.

Ho, ho, ho! – is it nearly Christmas?

Not quite, yet actually it isn't actually that far away! One thing is for sure – Christmas will come again this year. And another thing is for sure – we'll all find ourselves running out of time again and there will be one or two people running around the shops in the morning of 24th December looking for those last few little gifts at the very last minute. Unbelievable but true: we have already finished our first range of Christmas merchandise for 2021. Outside it's 34°C, yet inside we are dealing with chocolate Santas and Advent calendars. But that's just the way things are in our trade. At Christmas, the Easter bunnies are hopping through the corridors, and at the official start of summer, Santa Claus is making his way to Mannheim. We have trawled through our suppliers, analysed the trends and made sure that we haven't forgotten any Christmas traditions, so that now – right on time, just before the start of the summer holidays – we have been able to put together a helpful working basis and source of inspiration full of ideas and suggestions on the subject of end-of-year business, Christmas and also calendars. Take a look through, we're sure you'll find something you like. Whether it's a little something for your customers or a thank you gift for your employees or colleagues.

Have you ever thought about all the delicious food that people in other countries enjoy at Christmas? Here in Germany, we are all familiar with Nuremberg Lebkuchen or Stollen from Dresden. But do other countries have their own delicious goodies and, if so, what are they like and what traditions do they represent? We have done some research and found quite a few delicious specialities. Our team in the Christmas elf workshop have been busy thinking up some new ideas and have created some really nice sets.

On that note, lean back and enjoy yourselves. Download our CHILL & GRILL remix, grab yourself a cool drink and enjoy being inspired by our latest edition. It'll be worth your while! And a Merry Christmas!
