13 NEW FACES. 63 DAYS. A TEAM ON THE RISE.

cyber-Wear continues to expand its team, having welcomed a total of 13 new colleagues since the beginning of July. The appointments span Creative Services, Business Development, Account and Key Account Management, Content, Product Development, Logistics and Apprenticeships. Six new team members joined on 1 September alone, including four apprentices.

The first to join was Christian Behrendt, who took up the newly created position of Head of Creative Services on 1 July. Behrendt had previously worked with cyber-Wear on individual projects. In his new role, he is responsible for establishing and developing the Creative Services & Design Centre.

Three further colleagues joined on 1 August. Filip Jedynasiak strengthens cyber-Wear as Business Development Manager, focusing on identifying new business opportunities, attracting prospective clients and building new client relationships. Ahmed Talha Hacioglu has joined as Account Manager, supporting clients and coordinating their projects.

At the same time, Nina Kaufmann took on the role of Personal Content Creator. She follows CEO Steven Baumgaertner in his day-to-day work, turning insights from his working life into content for the company’s social media communications.

Arnab Nirjhor and Marcel Throne have been part of the team since 17 August. As Apparel Product Manager, Nirjhor supports both the Apparel division and the Design Team. He oversees the development of textile products, from initial ideas and product selection through to delivery. Throne supports cyber-Wear as a driver and warehouse operative, working particularly with the off-site warehouse in Reilingen. His responsibilities include transporting goods between sites and supporting warehouse operations.

The next significant intake followed on 1 September. Vanessa Gönnheimer joined the VID team, while David Urich strengthened the warehouse team.

Four young colleagues also began their apprenticeships at cyber-Wear. Lucas Geisweid and Abdüs Samed Bulut are training in wholesale and foreign trade management, while Lorenzo Sorrentino and Görkem Ertan are training as warehouse logistics specialists. Alongside expanding its specialist departments, cyber-Wear is therefore also investing in developing its own future talent.

One particularly notable addition is Clair Hermesh. The American is no stranger to cyber-Wear, having worked for the company in the United States many years ago. She is now returning to cyber-Wear and relocating from the US to Germany to take up a position as Key Account Manager. Her return brings back a colleague who already knows the business and adds international experience to its Key Account Management team.

“Thirteen new colleagues in such a short space of time is an impressive number. For me, however, something else matters more: 13 people have made a conscious decision to build their future with cyber-Wear. They range from experienced managers to four young people at the start of their careers. And with Clair, a former colleague is even returning from the US to join us in Germany. It is precisely this mix that makes a company strong in the long term,” says Daniel Faller, CFO of cyber-Wear.

For cyber-Wear, increasing headcount is not an end in itself. Through these appointments, the company aims to build additional expertise, share responsibilities more widely and lay the foundations for its continued development.

“Every new person brings fresh perspectives, additional expertise and an opportunity to offer our clients even better solutions. Our aim is therefore not simply to become bigger. We want to become more capable as an organisation, share responsibility across more people and create the conditions for further sustainable growth. To achieve that, we need people who are keen to shape the business and actively contribute to cyber-Wear’s development,” Faller adds.

With these 13 new colleagues, cyber-Wear is strengthening its client-facing and creative functions alongside Product Development, Operations and Apprenticeships. The appointments reflect the company’s commitment to combining growth with the deliberate development of expertise and responsibility.

13 new faces – and 13 fresh perspectives for the future of cyber-Wear.
